Being a Colorado based shop, we have to say we are a bit biased when it comes to our favorite CRISPI model. Purpose designed for the type of hunts that typically occur here in Colorado, where success is usually found in the high country, the newly released Crispi Colorado GTX II is built to get you there, help you succeed, and get you home with a heavy pack.

CRISPI Colorado II Features
Upgraded in 2022, the CRISPI Colorado II boot upper is made out of a combination of water-repellent suede and highly breathable, yet extremely durable, PUtek fabric. PUtek is a nylon base material with threads of very strong polyurethane strategically woven in. The replacement of the cordura with PUtek fabric is the main change from the original Colorado boot. The PUtek is what gives the new Colorado II increased durability and puncture resistance. The entire footbed of the Colorado 2.0 is also wrapped with a GORE-TEX (GTX) performance lining to ensure maximum waterproof protection, even when crossing creeks and hunting in swampy areas.
Just like the original, optimum ankle support for side hilling and heavy pack-outs is provided with the integrated Ankle Bone Support System (ABSS). A polyurethane coated leather rand is triple stitched with Kevlar around the base of the boot to protect the foot from external impacts and cuts on sharp granite and talus. The boot is rounded off with a dual density polyurethane Vibram sole which provides comfort in high impact areas and amazing grip in the nastiest of conditions, like those late afternoon storms in the Colorado high country during hunting season.

How to Size your Colorado II Boots Correctly
From the hundreds of pairs of CRISPI boots that we've helped customers wear into the wild, the overwhelming majority ended up going with their street shoe size in the standard (D) width. CRISPI offers half-sizes and extra wide sizing if needed, so you can get the fit dialed in perfectly. We typically wear CRISPI Manti Lightweight Merino Socks with our CRISPI boots, which provide great perspiration management and blister protection.

|
GORE-TEX Performance Comfort Footwear Lining: Keeps your feet dry when crossing creeks, hunting in swampy areas, or walking through wet morning grass. |
|
Vibram® sole with dual-density polyurethane shock absorbing midsole: This means you get impact absorbing comfort where you need it, but sole stability where it matters. |
4 Flex Rating: On CRISPI'S scale from 1-5, this is a little stiffer than your average hunting boot. We've found it's the perfect stiffness for spending plenty of time on those really steep north facing slopes chasing elk or side-hilling when searching for deer. Still provides enough flex for comfort when walking on the trail or on the flats. |
|
ABSS Ankle Support System: Moving through the country is hard on your ankles. Add in a heavy pack, and some downed timber, and it gets downright dangerous. The ABSS conforms to your ankle with heat activated foam, so you have plenty of support, no matter how much off-angle up and over you need to do. |
|
Board Lasting Mechanical Construction: Italian made boots have always been known for great long lasting quality. CRISPI takes that a step further in their construction method when attaching the uppers to the sole. |
