Korkers Wading Boots

Korkers Wading Boots Offer Adaptable Traction.

Korkers boots designs, develops and distributes all terrain footwear featuring patented adaptable traction so outdoor enthusiasts can optimize their traction performance for every terrain and weather condition both in and out of the water. Korkers Buckskin wading boots are a favorite do-it-all wading boot of many anglers just getting into the sport. The Korkers Darkhorse boot is their workhorse boot, that features the time-saving BOA lacing system, and is their most popular boot.

The Korkers brand was born over 50 years ago on the rugged and treacherous riverbanks of the Rogue River near Grants Pass, Oregon. Made by hand, using scrap rubber, nylon cord, and carbide spikes, Korkers "River Cleats" were created in the basement of Korkers founder, Sherman Smith.

The functional yet versatile design of the cleat system quickly grew as a favorite among fisherman who often found themselves slipping and/or falling on slippery river rock, and eventually spread to provide traction safety to a number of industrial applications such as roofing and outdoor work on snow and ice.

Over the years Korkers wading boots hasn't abandoned its independent thinking. The company continues its bold and innovative approach, having the courage to take risks in order to meet the needs of those who identify with the intensity of outdoor adventure where extreme conditions can be challenging and unforgiving.

Through its unique OmniTrax Interchangeable Sole System, Korkers empowers anglers to fish responsibly with a range of specific outsoles - from traditional felt to sticky rubber, to the new Triple Threat sole system - that meet the demands of any environment.

What is the warranty on my Korkers wading boots?

Korkers stands behind the products they design and manufacture. They warrant their wading boots to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the confirmed date of purchase. They ask that you please keep a copy of your sales receipt as verification of your purchase. If you need to file a warranty claim, you can find it at the Korkers wading boots warranty claim page.

Limitations on the Korkers Boots Warranty

Korkers warranty on its boots is limited to the warranty set forth above.  Accessory products such as removable soles, spikes, or gripper pads are not included in this warranty. Korkers products are designed to enhance versatility and traction performance. However, Korkers products will not eliminate slips or falls or the need for other safety devices. Korkers products are not intended to replace or eliminate the use of recognized or required safety procedures.

How does the BOA lace system work on Korkers wading boots?

The Boa Lacing System achieves a micro-adjustable, glove-like fit on Korkers wading boots via three key components: a knob, spool, and lace. Turning the high-grip exterior knob activates the internal spool which then pulls the ultra-durable Boa lace with remarkable closure force. The combination of the low-friction lace and lace guides creates a uniform closure that is free from pressure points and automatically conforms to the demands of your feet, activity, and terrain. Constructed from aircraft grade, stainless steel, the Boa lace is gram-for-gram stronger than tank armor and easily sheds water, mud, ice, or any kind of river muck. Finally, the Boa Lacing System is secure: once you set the dial to your desired tension, you're off and don't have to worry about the laces coming untied all day.

How Durable is the Boa Lacing System?

Extensive testing - both in the Boa lab and in the field by over 300 field testers - has validated the durability of the Boa Lacing System in the most demanding of environments and in the most rigorous of activities. It is hardly a surprise that the Boa Lacing System routinely outlives the footwear on which it is used. The Boa lace itself is gram-for-gram stronger than tank armor and specifically designed to endure environments where grit and grime are the norm. Finally, the Boa Dialed In for Life™ Guarantee further ensures the Boa Lacing System laces and guides for the lifetime of the product. In the extremely rare event of a lace break, athletes simply tie three very tight knots (necessary due to the low friction of the laces); the lace will then hold until you return to the trailhead or car at the end of the day.
