If I was a male model, that expression I have on my face would be "The Ponderer, by Noah." I've seen this look on my face in numerous pictures and usually I'm just posing. In this case though, the pose is real; I am honestly thinking, "What the hell just happened"?
In 1978, a dozen Shiras Moose were transplanted from Utah to Walden, Colorado, which established Colorado’s first significant population. Now Moose numbers are estimated to be over 3000, and every year it seems we’re seeing larger bulls. We recently bumped into this one locally and he’s the largest Shiras Bull we’ve seen to date!
