The Mystery Ranch Bino Harness 12X is built for hunters running larger binoculars — the 12x50s and big-objective glass that serious western hunters carry for long days of glassing open country. Where the Bino Harness 10X fits binoculars up to 6.75" in height, the 12X accommodates the larger 6.75"–8" range — the size class that covers most 12x50, 15x56, and large-objective 10x50 binoculars from Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss, and Vortex. Same magnetic one-handed access, same PALS webbing for attaching the Bear Spray Holster or Rangefinder Holster, same 0.7lb weight — just sized for the glass that serious glassers actually use. Available in Foliage, Coyote, and Optifade Subalpine.
The Harness for Serious Glass
There's a reason the most dedicated western hunters carry 12x50s or larger: more light, more resolution, more detail at distance. A 12x50 Swarovski or Leica picks up detail at 800 yards that a 10x42 misses, and in elk and mule deer country where you're often glassing at extreme range to find antler tips in the brush or a bedded buck on a shaded north face, that extra resolution is the difference between finding the animal and driving home empty. But larger glass means a larger, heavier harness — and most harnesses on the market aren't built for it.
The Mystery Ranch 12X solves that with a purpose-built larger body (9" x 8" x 4.3" vs. the 10X's 7" x 8" x 3.8") that securely holds big glass without the sloppy fit that causes bounce and wear on expensive lens coatings. The magnetic buckle closure handles one-handed access the same way regardless of bino size — one motion, glass out, eyes on the hillside. The PALS webbing on the bottom builds out the same modular system as the 10X, keeping your bear spray and rangefinder in the same accessible position whether you're running the smaller or larger harness.

Sizing Guide
Measure around the fullest part of your chest, passing beneath your arms and across your shoulder blades. Add an inch for heavy base layers or insulation.
- Regular: 23" to 42" chest
- XL: 40" to 62" chest
How to Fit the Mystery Ranch Bino Harness 12X
Loosen all straps before putting on the harness. Tighten the body straps first, then the shoulder straps. The harness should be snug against your chest without restricting breathing or movement. The padded shoulder sections should rest fully on your shoulders with no pressure points. Tuck excess strap ends into the elastic holders.
