The CRISPI Thor II GTX is an update to one of CRISPI'S most popular lightweight, yet rugged boots. It's proven itself as a lightweight early season boot that is stiff enough to go into the very steepest terrain. The recent key material updates have only made it better.

CRISPI THOR II GTX Features

The CRISPI Thor II was designed specifically for and is available only in, the North American market. That means it was purpose built for the deep and steep of the iconic wilderness areas of the Americas. The best boots are the ones that you don't even know you have on after 15 hard miles in the backcountry, and that's what the Thor II achieves.

The upper of the new Thor II is made out of PUTek, which is like the typical cordura that many CRIPSI uppers are made from, but it has Polyurethane woven into it, resulting in a material that is lightweight, but still durable. The entire footbed is then wrapped with a GORE-TEX (GTX) waterproof lining to ensure maximum waterproof protection, even when crossing creeks and hunting in swampy areas.

A Kevlar triple stitched, polyurethane coated leather rand is wrapped around the base of the boot to protect the foot from external impacts and abrasion against sharp granite.

The boot is rounded off with a CRISPI exclusive Claw sole, which provides comfort in high impact areas with EVA and a grippy sole that will keep you upright even when scrambling on wet rocks.

How to Size your Nevada GTX Boots Correctly

From the hundreds of pairs of CRISPI boots that we've helped customers wear into the wild, the overwhelming majority ended up going with their street shoe size in the standard (D) width. CRISPI offers half-sizes and extra wide sizing if needed, so you can get the fit dialed in perfectly. We typically wear CRISPI Manti Lightweight Merino Socks with our CRISPI boots, which provide great perspiration management and blister protection.

CRISPI Flex Rating 4 4 Flex Rating: On CRISPI'S scale from 1-5, this is a little stiffer than your average hunting boot. We've found it's the perfect stiffness for spending plenty of time on those really steep north facing slopes chasing elk or side-hilling when searching for deer. Still provides enough flex for comfort when walking on the trail or on the flats.
WFW Logo Wrapping Framework: Moving through the backcountry rarely involves flat terrain, and CRISPI'S wrapping framework gives your boot extra structural support no matter what angle your foot is at. A Plastic polymer "frame" is wrapped and fused along the external upper of the boot. The laces are tied into this wrapping framework which maintains perfect foot position and anatomical wrapping of the foot with the boot.
Board Lasting Mechanical Construction Logo Board Lasting Mechanical Construction: Italian made boots have always been known for great long lasting quality. CRISPI takes that a step further in their construction method when attaching the uppers to the sole.
