The SITKA Mountain Jacket is designed for those blustery days on the mountain when the rut is really cranking. 3-layer GORE-TEX INFINIUM™ with WINDSTOPPER® Technology material is combined with a super quiet brushed polyester outer face, which makes for a deadly quiet, fully windproof and weather resistant jacket that can be worn in more than just gale-force winds.

Here's why SITKA made the Mountain Jacket
Mountain hunting comes with its own unique challenges: cold temps, biting wind, rain, and snow. To tackle these varied obstacles, hunters typically have to carry many different items while trying to maintain breathability and–more importantly–stealth and traditional soft shells were too heavy and not compressible. SITKA's goal was to develop a single garment that would be fully windproof, water-resistant, lightweight and breathable all within a quiet face fabric. In short, we designed a jacket you can wear 90% of the time.
